Poetry

As far as I can see,
There is no poetry--
But, something
That we all celebrate.

It circulates,
It never stays.
If you meet God in
A hospital, tell him
That’s all there is

To poetry;

Let the gate (ope—try),
Lest the naked (toe pry).
Should a (pro yet) (prey to) (type
Or)--re (opt rye) typo?

As near as I can smell
cheek to cheek to your
Ear, a bubble with no skin;
A skin with no poetry,
Pop it …, inside out:
But who, to breathe…

Ps. re: in the case of, regarding.
Inside ( ), __ you can make the word poetry

I’m not a poet, nor a pot--
Dump me no garbage
Before comes next Tuesday.

As smart as I certainly start,
As stupid as I surely finish.
So what is it in this melting
Pot that cooks all but poetry.

So called the A-me-li-ka,
So called the Ying-ge-li-xu,
You know, where I came
From, poetry is gold, not dia-
monds.

Again a poet and a pot, me on
The 42nd thought, throw in some
Cabbage before this stove turns
cold
