[博弈]

Am I glad about technologies

Am I glad there is nail clipper before me
Am I glad there is toilet before me
I can sit on this and use that
For days until my poem is done

I don’t know how other deceased did it
And no intention finding out how and when
The only problem is I can’t put crumbs into toilet
While I sit and write and
My dickhead sometimes wonders
Where he should go before me

i like this one!

sometimes i find that it's totally okay to put words such as "dickhead" and "toilet" in an english poem, while we hardly see this happens in Chinese poetry. Chinese poety needs to be always positive, always need to "watch your mouth" etc etc..... I think this attitude needs to be changed if we want our imagination to go wider!

sometimes i find that it's totally okay to put words such as "dickhead" and "toilet" in an english poem, while we hardly see this happens in Chinese poetry. Chinese poety needs to be always positive, always need to "watch your mouth" etc etc..... I think this attitude needs to be changed if we want our imagination to go wider!

To be honest, it took me several reads trying to understand it, still I didn't quite get it so I was not offended(good thing).

i don't mind obscenity in poetry at all. Poetry should reflect the society we are living in, just like movies, photography, architecture or fine art. We don't have to make poetry a "one of a kind" creation that scare the hell out of everyone! Sometimes a "bad" words here and there will actually help readers to "fit in". there's no point think to be 清高. being too 高, means unreachable most of the time.

不清, I am afraid you read me wrong. If I didn't get my idea across I am sorry for that. It really depends on how you use the language just like what 博弈 said 不是为用而用. I am not that type of perso who serches for 曲高和寡。

Though I didn't get the poem completely, I feel it is a witty, corny write. Not everybody can write like that.
