Blind days have past
your light has shed through the opened ocular.
Under your might,
I gain new sight.

Moon (Haiku)
Moon wanders alone
above the silvery street
spinning thread till dawn

I always enjoy reading Haiku. Its brevity, concrete images and spiritual experience always attract me. I find the "ah ha" moment, though hard to achieve, often produces a good Haiku.

Unwrapping a dream,
beauty inside reveals truth:
change never ceases.

Autumn (Haiku)
Maple leaves quilt hills
with red, yellow and crimson,
in fall's rushing steps.

Both are good poems. The cocoon one has a sort of philosophy in it, while the autumn describes the nature.

I haven' written any Haiku I am satisfied with yet, but I have translated a few. However, don't look for the strict arrangement and rhyming scheme as you know it is hard to translate Haiku. Wink

紫荆(晓帆)

山色浮窗外
燕子低飞紫荆开
几朵落下来

Bauhinia Blakeana

Mountain scene floats by
Swallows fly low, flowers bloom
A few petals fall

陨石(晓帆)

失去了光泽
就默默隐入深山
听涧水低吟

Meteorite

Spent meteorite
Hides silent in deep mountains
Rift brook sings softly

窗外(晓帆)

画帘卷清风
一抹春色情更浓
窗外草青葱

Outside Window

Spring comes with deep love
Zephyr rolls up painted drape
Fresh green grass unfolds
