Goodbye Sarah

The sudden snow on that night
rivers and mountains turn quiet,
in a room full of love and worries
blue drifts each corner in hurries.

We wait in the hall,
watching the breaking news
listening to the mourning call,
as trees wail the crystal Blues.

TV replays all the moments
that you shone in each fray;
we recall your movements
that took our breath away.

The white butterflies rush by.
Sarah waves her Goodbye.
The lakes are frozen in cold,
and valleys strangely withhold.

The sky appears empty
without your leaps;
mountains seem gloomy
without your sweeps.

Here are our broken hearts,
here is the fallen snow;
we stand under the grey sky,
watching you waving goodbye.
