or write one for Tiger poem?
THE TIGER
by: William Blake (1757-1827)
TIGER, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?
And what shoulder and what art
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And, when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand and what dread feet?
What the hammer? What the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? What dread grasp
Dare its deadly terrors clasp?
When the stars threw down their spears,
And water'd heaven with their tears,
Did He smile His work to see?
Did He who made the lamb make thee?
Tiger, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry? _________________

In seed time learn, in harvest teach, in winter enjoy.
William Blake
It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend.
William Blake
He whose face gives no light, shall never become a star.
William Blake
I am in you and you in me, mutual in divine love.

No bird soars too high if he soars with his own wings.

The bird a nest, the spider a web, man friendship.
William Blake
The difference between a bad artist and a good one is: the bad artist seems to copy a great deal; the good one really does.

A POISON TREE
by: William Blake (1757-1827)
I WAS angry with my friend:
I told my wrath, my wrath did end.
I was angry with my foe:
I told it not, my wrath did grow.
And I watered it in fears,
Night and morning with my tears;
And I sunnèd it with smiles,
And with soft deceitful wiles.
And it grew both day and night,
Till it bore an apple bright;
And my foe beheld it shine,
And he knew that it was mine,
And into my garden stole,
When the night had veiled the pole:
In the morning glad I see
My foe outstretched beneath the tree.

just wrote one:
Sigh To William Blake
Once I saw the Tiger,
Near the foot of the forest,
Eyes, brilliant and bright.
I gazed upon him and sighed--
Great and fierce he appeared,
A fragile fate was his lot!
The forest has retreated
And the traps have been placed.
His stuffed head hung on the crowded wall,
A shop window displays his skin flayed.
Neon light blazes upon his empty eyes,
The God who was the creator watches in a void.
Oh, the forest of buildings and the dreadful
Tigers in night attire, their green eyes spit out:
a mighty, despaired of future. _________________ ---------------------
