Burlington Federation BAC Event

Join the Burlington Federation in an enjoyable afternoon of artists talk and poetry responses to the latest gallery event at the Burlington Art Centre.

Visit the gallery at your leisure, create poetry on the displayed works, and then come on out to share it with the artist and an eager art community on this date. Anyone is invited to participate.

Autumn Ode

When all the splendid colors
brown, yellow and crimson
blend into dark,
still some left to fill up
your shadow,
layers upon layers
in mountains, in sunrise,
in leaves' rustle.

Through the side window
and rosy sky,
Light beckons instinct's song,
it flows inside.
"Bring forth, bring forth".

You hear and rise,
all the curves and hues
as silhouette of memory;
in the rising wings of dawn,
your silent meditation
finds final peace.
