Morning Call in Fremont - Morning walk at home

Dews and fogs blanket the grass I stroll
In the mist of smoke I walk no more

Shivering are the yellow roses, red too
Petals drop with breezes from afar
Steps near yet no shadows fall
Who is it there I feel amour

Sun comes up
Evaporate all moisture from my apple core
Warmth covers my skin ‘n barks start to steam
I smell your breath as petals float across my chin
What is it passed my late night dream

Breakfast is waiting in the bush hub
Lemon tress are smiling at humming birds
Is it Winter or is it Fall
As I retreat from my morning walk


Then empty stomach wakes up to senses
Yep, this is a wonderful world after all

Beautiful. Enjoyed it. Reminded me of a song in a nature film "Good morning world, good morning world, good morning sunshine... ", that was long long time ago.

The imagery used aroused all the senses: smell, touch, sight, hearing, taste, kinesthesia and synaesthesia.

I enjoyed the walk in this poem all along until all of a sudden I heard 'Yep' that really gave me a good laugh...
