2016-RBC-Toronto Qinhuai Lantern Festival Lights Up organized by Ontario-Jiangsu Friendship Association and Jiangsu Overseas Exchanges Association 由安大略-江苏友好协会和江苏海外交流协会联袂主办、江苏侨办的多伦多秦淮灯会于2016年元宵举行观金陵花灯、猜金猴灯谜、尝秦淮小吃等系列中国传统文化体验活动。

我们中西诗人被邀请一起交流分享中西文化和诗歌。

欢迎大家一起加入我们， 现场活动是2月21日元宵夜5点-9点

我们会有诗歌表演，诗歌吟唱，诗歌游戏和抽奖等。。。现场古诗写作，和英文短诗尝试等。。。

网上活动主要是自己跟贴到相关栏目，自我介绍并分享诗作。
我们会打印部分，作为现场竞猜游戏。

希望诗人和诗友们一起加入现场或网上，分享交流。

Red Lantern’s Magic

This time you ask me
to straighten your tie
For a moment
my civilized hand grows warm
Our eyes meet between red lanterns
almost lost…
as if in a sudden spring garden

The golden monkey hops along the hall,
photographing this exotic scene with excited tourists.
He doesn’t notice this hazy love in me
rising and glowing like a rosy lass.

If this magic is stronger than gravity
another time and space
we shall meet.
By then perhaps shoot me
among plum blossoms…
My Life
taking the shape of a loaded gun,
shall surrender
to its springing force.
