he spring 2014 edition of Mississauga Arts magazine is out! In this edition we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Mississauga Arts Awards popularly known as the MARTYs! This is our 20th year of honouring the excellent art community of the city and this issue hightlights the amazing MARTYs nominees and the awesome event that is full of fun, entertainment and networking.

The spring edition also highlights the extremely successful MAC events that were held in the winter of last year. The talk of the town was the 2013 ARTBEATS Carnivale, a Latin extravaganza that saw artists and art enthusiasts come together to support the vibrant arts and culture of Mississauga. Another hit event was the Cranberry Breakfast, a morning full of music, inspiration and networking
The magazine also highlights some of the most happening events organized by our Limelight Committee of Youth Artists that brought together the emerging talent that is thriving in the city.
This issue’s spotlight is on the brilliant Mississauga Symphony Orchestra Maestro Denis Mastromonaco, who is ushering in a new generation of Orchestral music in the city.
