Please check out local author Jerry Levy’s upcoming collection of short stories, entitled Urban Legend. This is a collection of 14 stories that even prior to publication, has been getting really good reviews. Elle Pryor, editor of the literary magazine The Sim Review, had this to say:



“I've been lucky enough to read a copy of the book before the publication date and can thoroughly recommend it. All of the short stories have something new to offer. Jerry’s stories have appeared in literary magazines and anthologies throughout Canada , the U.S. , and the UK . Urban Legend is his first book.



The launch will take place Oct 20, 2 pm, at the Victory Café. Guitarist Kim Jarrett will be performing and award-winning poet Anna Yin, who was recently featured on CBC Radio, will be reading. There will be free finger food! All of this is being offered at no charge so it would be greatly appreciated if you would respect the hard work of the author and purchase his book at the launch.
