My parents called me
"Baby, we’ve saved some money for you
whenever you need.”

For years, they’ve asked me to go home
to take a look.
They are proud of new changes there.

Last winter, here everything was frozen.
Even a happy goose, longing for home.
The whole year, I was mending my heavy and dark wings,
but I told them I was busy traveling.

They smile to their old neighbors
"Our daughter grew strong wings”
They say to themselves
"She never learned how to lie.”
