NOVEMBER 21 – MISSISSAUGA'S FIRST POETRY SLAM FEATURING EYTAN CROUTON: This is the first monthly Mississauga Poetry Slam, Hosted by Matt. "Lip Balm" Miller. Featured Poet: Eytan Crouton. FREE ADMISSION, ALL AGES. Two round slam! No props, no costumes, no music. 3:10 minute time limit. Half-point deduction for every 10-seconds overtime. Winner takes home $100 cash. Sign up at 7pm. Open Mic at 8pm. Slam at 8:30pm Mondello's in Streetsville, 127 Queen Street South. Free admission. [email protected]
But Nov 22 I have been invited to one event in Toronto Library:
A Tribute to Ray Souster Nov. 22 @ Runnymede Public Library. An new award in name of Raymond Souster from the LCP will be announced at this event. http://poets.ca/wordpress/
So I may be busy.... But I am glad there are a lot of events close to where I live, so I will check each when I have time.
