Hey, be strong. Sometimes I say this to myself. But now I want to say this to you. I know you face a new life now. So don't look back, enter the new door. There are always miracles in front of you, believe in yourself. I always remember to allow myself dream because it lifts up one's heart. Yes. Dream. Though sometimes each of us has different course, but our courses are like river beds, the force from the river could change the paths. So the same will happen to you. Remember life is a gift. Go for it.

I hope next year someone will read my book and say the same to me.

Anyway, here are two poems from the book:

I Want to Dance

with you —
on the rocks of a remote ocean;

I want to taste
the damp exotic wind and lavender sweet scent.

Let the waves nibble our bare feet,
sing their own songs
from the shells
and coral’s dream…

In tides of the full moon,
to understand
the myth of love.




Why Hesitate?

We talk about twilight.
Voices find resonance
falling on a rainy night.
They echo a rock’s reply,
like fish leaping out of a river.

The door opens and closes;
we listen to bread and toaster sizzling,
as a love puzzle feeding our still life.

River flows in me.
Like a hooked fish,
I listen to the tide’s message.
The tea grows cold.

I fear to offer
anything
for what appears to be an apple,
may taste like a lemon.
