The tiny black and white grids hiding her slim body,
she smiles back to him.

He loves to enter her from the behind.
He says, it is the sexiest way.
Another white lie,
she covers her sadness .

All these years she has regretted
her small breasts never grow into full moons.
Such lemon size easily cupped by his hands,
from the reflection of a mirror,
she feels less feminine.

For years he must get used to them.
Yet tomorrow she’ll take the surgery.
She pictures her flat body under his shirt.
Clothing her diminishing self,
his shirt always comforts her—
at least it smells like him.

Now she buries her face in his arms
and wishes—
their love could be strong enough.
