The greatest comfort of history is that the future's so predictable. And I think the poem is a little too. It reads more like a declaration... and it's a bit rhetorical... like prose actually as it seems to lack poetic device.

Just my two cents worth... historical topics are difficult, at best, to write of/about.

Your tone is grand. But I'm always wondering how else one could analogize such situations without being seen or heard as racist? Degree of difficulty, 11.

Thank you very much for your comments. Yes, to writing events of history is very difficult.

I visit the exhibition and thought all of human's history is the same. They all pursued the life after death yet fade into dust.

I will think it over.
