To break the old habit. For example, if you have the habit to start a line, and think it is great for first line, rearrange it after you write the poem. Rethink.
Think out of box.

2. Give a setting, in a hotel room… you are alone, write why?

Try at home write three ways of looking at something…

Try to translate a English poem into another English poem. (break it, give some clue or joint)
Forget some rules, not to find your voice, but another voice, be negative capability, not to let go getting away

When I sit down to write,
I remind myself,
no more love poems.

What is the point
to create dreams
that cannot live in?

One must swallow the air
and accept onions.

Skin them slowly
till tears disappear.
I command myself.

Rising, I know
the destiny--
all become the same,
dust in the wind.
