I can’t say what I know
in my body of you;
I can only “write poetry”;
there we share the same face,
and breathe in the same rhythm.

We have waited for spring drizzle since a long winter,
and planned to listen to summer
tides rising along a curved island.

Now the sunset
blankets crimson over our roof,
and night descends.

I can’t say what I know
in my body of you;
I can only seed in poetry.
Words roll to lead doors
through doors;
among the sky of stars,
some deem to fall,
others shoot
like migrating birds.
They never restrain
feelings of falling apart.
