Our feet are sore
From all that walking
But we're nearly there
I can feel it coming

Blistered feet
From all that walking
But we're nearly there
The way is clear

We're here now
The water is glistening
The lake is clear
We're finally here

The water is cool
On our blistered feet
But we're finally here
It's the end of our fate

We've been together long
We've become closer
The journey was tiring
But we're the best of mates

We're finally here
Some lads stay no longer
But I'll live here
Untill my time is over
