The seeds we fail to harvest,
fall upon a white pool of papers.

Under a moonlit night,
they crack into armies of ants,
center-aligned among the pale sheets -
recounting their myth. . .

On sunny days, they climb up
the chrysalis of my heart,
stirring an itchy yearning
for monarch's restless wings.
