after a brief rain
rainbow ahead leads
my highway to Sarnia

along roadsides
maple trees welcome me
the vast living oil painting

on the radio
Bob Dylan's song
celebrating his newly award

chemistry, business, science
practicing in three lines-
haiku workshops

waiting for the right moment
to snapshot
haiku contest submission

uphill
clouds gather
I come close, closer

little pond
swimming among clouds
fish and leaves

young again
eating at college's cafe
time flies

birds' songs with our voices
into the eco-forest

upon fork trails
pondering on last winter
whose footprints left

on the sunset lake
a snowy egret takes off
the other not in sight
