What's the Word on the Street?
This coming Sunday, September 21st, Diaspora Dialogues will be joining The Word on the Street festival bringing talented artists and writers to the podium.
Located under the City of Toronto tent, our program will follow the Toronto Book Award finalists starting at 2:30 pm - 4:00pm.
To highlight the 25th anniversary of the Toronto Book Awards, this year we will be featuring Andrew Borkowski (TBA winner, 2012), Rabindranath Maharaj (TBA winner, 2011), Alissa York (TBA shortlist 2011) and Elizabeth Ruth (TBA shortlist 2002).
Following 15 minute readings from each author, there will be a moderated discussion, with questions from the audience, facilitated by journalist and host of CBC's What's On Aparita Bhandari
