The birds have flown away.
For two days, their nest has remained empty.
I wonder whether their last glance
was to say goodbye.

I should not be upset, I think,
at least, life returns to normal.
No more need to lower my voice and tiptoe.
No more silly worries:
ffffff...when the eggs will crack,
ffffffffffffffffffhow to prevent the cat from conducting a crime,
ffffffffffffffffff when will the baby birds grow feathers…?
All that annoy my neighbor,
who refuses to consider any more questions.

Now watching me by the empty nest,
my neighbor hesitates,
"Don’t move it.
If you want them back.”

The dark clouds form over our roof.
I remember-
Years ago, another bird flew away.
An empty nest was left in my heart.
