Another busy week. I worked till midnight to finish my task since we planned to take one week vacation in Calgary, Banff and Jasper. Yesterday I booked hotel for Banff and Jasper. I found people there were very friendly. They told me that they didn’t have any room available but guided me to check online post for seven days vacancy in other places. So I checked the website and called several owners.

After a short period, I made a good deal. ( tips: though some owners ask for two nights minim, you still can negotiate for one night)
Today I printed the map and hotel’s information and airline’s detail. At night we need to pack our clothing, shoes and computer stuff. Then Tomorrow around 3:00pm, Jimmy will send us off.
I would like to thank my old friend Judy for providing the link for travel information (we will follow the routine: Starting July 15, we will follow the routine:http://traveler.nationalgeographic.com/drives/map/banff-jasper

and also my new friend Wei Yin in Calgary to give many ideas for the summer event in Calgary for Stememped: http://calgarystampede.com/. She shares the same last name with me. I got her email from Canadian Federation Poet website. Since I planned to stay Calgary for four days (my son will play Table Tennis National games), I wonder if I have time to drop by any poetry event in Calgary. CFP has several branches in different provinces. In GTA, there are Lakeshore branch, High Park Branch, Mississauga Branch, Oakville Branch. Each month each branch has several similar events. So I hope in Calgary I could make new friends. When I checked the website for Calgary branch, I found Ms Yin’s name and email there. So I sent email to ask for information in case I have some time to visit any event.
She replied back to say that she lived in Mississauga before and went to several events we hosted in Mississauga. She moved to Calgary in 2007. Though I could not remember her, I was glad that we got contact again.
My family went to Calgary and Banff in 2005, but only with a short stop. Even so, the beauty of the nature thrilled me a lot. This time I want to have a good plan and take a better tour to explore every wonder. Life is short. I wish everyone has a way to find his peace and happiness. Though I am still trying to find mine. Take care, my friends. I will write the journey when I have time again.
