My English teacher will be awed by my writing
this coming Saturday.
So much having written, and so not the same as usual.
I cannot help predicting the impression on her face,
Oh, Anna, it is a true something!

But, I cannot confess once I was
a mermaid with her solemn wish.
My heart and my beautiful, shine hair
were taken by a unfulfilled dream.

a thank you note.
and a lot more.

last night I wrote one,
my heart was all thanks
till it burnt into ashes.

you will never understand
or you do understand –
it is too late.

this morning, I woke up with a dream -
The jade bracelet you gave to me
fell and shattered.

I sadly lifted my hand,
surprised and found it safe
around my wrist,
with a thin crack
hard to notice.
