They say it can live a hundred years.
They say it has no enemies.
As huge a creature as it is,
I can't believe it's in front of me.

I see it closely through the glass,
I see its skin full of scars.
Its eyes are oh so very small,
Its mouth as big as boxcars.

I once was touched by a horse
when I saw its eyes full of tears.
But now I can only guess
if the killer whale has fears.

Within the glass cage it splashes
it splashes and tries to escape.
until the very tired moment.
Oh, what they say is a conditional truth.

Thanks all. Sometimes, I think my inspiration will be wilted, luckily,
it comes back to me again and again.
