蔷薇
从四月到五月
你如期地让我心动
缀满校门右边的花墙
天天相视而过
紫与粉溶染妩媚
团团墨绿的衬托
多么想在你的面前徘徊留连
绚烂一版浪漫主义的墨香
在你的世界
我的世界走不开工作
但已无法忘记眼神
那是一种怎样朦胧的隐喻
足以让行走的
心
搁
浅

Wild Roses

from April to May
you as scheduled
decorate the right side of
crenellated wall of our school-gate,
Let my heart full of emotion.
Each day we watch each other then walk by,
purple to dissolve with the powder dyes
charming dark green serves as contrast.
I want so much to wander along in front of you,
linger in the brilliant romantic ink-world of you.
Though my world to be too busy to leave,
I cannot forget your eyes:
such a subtle meaning inside to let my heart
be willing to settle down,
settle down…

The Chinese ilex

You start to dress up,
branches foaming creamy white
with ears of
tiny flower-buds,
exquisite like grains of rice,
in their richness
silently longing

Ahead of time,
anticipating summer
to meet each dusk and evening
for setting two hearts free
and dissolving them in the wind.
You spread fragrance around to avoid each

raindrop. Then
after winter they become two evergreen,
Chinese ilexes.

冬青这棵树（你的化身）为了某种情感小心打扮，以小米穗一样的白花寄予浓情，早早地期盼夏天，放逐两颗心，并保护着那些情感，而后冬天结果成冬青。。。

放逐两颗心----不知山城子老师本意为何，，，我这里想翻译为： set two hearts free... (让心自由）如果字面翻译。。。放逐两颗心，sending two hearts into exile 有点象是惩罚。。。与期待不符。。。所以？？？

星子你让我特别感动！你们有工作都太忙，却挤出时间关心一个老诗歌爱好者的习作。特别诚恳地谢谢！！
——‘放逐两颗心‘ 汉语应当用“放牧两颗心”才正确，是我写的时候没有认真推敲。意思是让两颗心自由自在的在温馨的氛围中加深爱的体验。这样才能经冬而常青！
——不好意思的是我是英语盲，一任你的处置了！

粉像是指粉紅而不是粉末。
a subtle meaning inside
幹嗎不按原文的字面意思翻成vague metaphor之類的？
settle down和擱淺有點分別，原文說行走的心，那我覺得擱淺便是不讓它走掉的含意，這樣的話用trap之類的詞可能好點。

Anna I don't know the original but your sensibilities make me feel that I am getting the true essence of this poem. I've read it twice and will continue to reread. Very lovely work.
