Sitting at the desk, reading;
Pausing for moments, reading again;
I pass time as it comes.
Looking out the window at the maple tree,
Reflecting on animate forms in their cyclical occurrences,
I remain serene and detached.

sometimes it is very important to meditate...I can find a quiet and peaceful world.

That’s only one day’s mindfulness. The rest of days concern me greatly: what I am going to do with my life here.

The everyday is what I am now, and most often:
Getting up, making and eating meals,
Doing domestic chores, shopping for groceries,
Reading, writing, viewing movies,
And oftentimes sitting at the desk,
Attentive to the dull drone of daily life.
The moments of non-being constitute the bulk of my life here.
The everyday, then, is myself, ordinarily.

Ordinariness is one of the hollowest human conditions one can live with.

Time is nothing but a disquiet of the soul

Hi Eric,

Ordinariness is one of the hollowest human conditions one can live with.

three years ago, I also had the same feeling about life and I was a little worried and sad to discover the plain truth.

Then I began to write and I found another world to myself... I found happiness and joy there...
So I kept writing till now...
I hope I can continue to my death... In some point, in some way, I find my true self towards life. We need not a true world, the world with imagination is more beautiful... through still we need to balance our life and our passion.
