Valentine Day

In my dream,
On a perfect blue ocean,
I see us two swans with pure wings.

Clinging to each other,
we embrace this moment
an eternal reflection,
with one heart to join.

Bygones fade away as grey clouds,
mountains hush to witness
the silent vow.

Love is our Valentine's day to share,
on the perfect blue ocean,
I see us a love icon and joint ring.

"Valentine Day", is Valentine's Day what we normally say?

一个有趣的发现：每个诗人、作家都有自己习惯使用的一组词汇。

如在你的诗中，我发现，这些词出现的频率比较高： dream, bygone, vow, beckon...
我并不是说这样好或不好，只能说是这是某个诗人的 signature 吧。
如同我认识的一位诗人，一些词语如海鸥、港湾、蕉风椰雨等经常出现在他的作品里。一读起来，就可猜出是谁写的。有趣吧。

My daughter has asked me to write a "love poem" for her to recite to her boyfriend and I gotta say I'm stumped beyond words to do it! May I borrow your Valentine Day poem for her to read?
