Dance of the Leaves

The autumn dance begins.
On moonlit November night,
hours before the sun awakes,
the violin wind strikes up the tune anew.

Leaves, dried and stiff,
restless bones of trees,
rattle down the ditches,
and sweep across the park,
caught up in the melody.

In an age old step,
the bones arise in groups as one,
to flow and sway
their contemporary version.

All across the park,
the great green ballroom floor,
they gather to waltz and spin,
to dance the night away,
until the band shall cease to play,
and the bones shall rest again.

升起,追逐,
摆动共同的奏鸣.

所有叶子穿过公园,
在那巨大的绿色舞池,
聚集一起,
跳起华尔兹,
旋动着黑夜之舞,
直到乐队停止演奏,
和休憩的时刻来到.
