‘n plant it in my bed of poetry

and the po--em is in me
I send it out to you
-- the flower in a garden
　made of words　words
　wrapped by the sheet

You open it
　　　　　　touch it

Do you feel 　I feel
Do I feel y--o-u feel
A poem has opened“

A raccoon was gunned down at the cross-road
One side was storming out cocooned bullets
You, puzzled at the sight, hesi-
tated to move, eyes revealing alien wavelength
as if
you have just landed this wordy earth.
You were totally naked
To cross or not to cross… ….

I stepped out and you told me …
You’d been abused in a wrong marriage
You’d been cheated at the speaker’s platform, under the desk
You’d been tossed around by love and domestic violence
Some howl your names as hookers (who isn’t aesthetic?)
Some want to hear you sing with artistic vocals
Some give you icons to finger play your hats
Get to the heart or get to the truth, damn it
Some rape you over and over and who is more addictive
Some pull your hearts out ‘n want to dissect you as a Beijing duck
Yet, you hang in there for
　　Ask not what this country has done for you
　　Ask what you have done for this circus
