I am glad to know my two sonnets are accepted by RHYTHM Poetry Magazine and will be published soon. The followings are the poems
Truth
It's easy to hear what others proclaim,
And omit the unsaid by ignorant minds.
Storms always form after winds howl and blame
Rains follow loud commands and are entwined.
What is left, afterwards? The dirty path
Full of disturbed scenes and ugly misdeeds.
At last, you gaze outside with fading wrath,
Hide your insane soul beneath sands and reeds.
From your secret paradox, evils may
Soon dress themselves up as pretending friends.
Magic plays in a stingy, greedy way;
You master it as your winning ascends.
Yet you can't block lights from shining
That sing truth without confining.
*Sonnet*
Early spring awakens lush desires.
Willows dangle twigs that softly sing;
Beside the streams, reeds flaunt bright green fire;
Hugging the shore, a swan preens its wing.
I wander alone, thinking of you,
Poplar trees whisper, flocks of birds soar.
My paces descend in cascades of blue,
I long to close the ring at our core.
Life's mysterious currents convey
Love and being loved to each scene.
As time goes by, we'll gladly weigh
the past as gold with shine and sheen.
Petals may wither and rings may be worn,
I'll love this moment like being reborn.
