Assignment 2

This week assignment is to write a narrative poem which tells a story.
First I thought of writing a Valentine Day poem, and then I thought of some touching songs by Leonard Cohen. I thought of writing a love poem to him because I just read his poem “the Bus”.
I thought I could use the bus as the tool to transfer me here and there. So I wrote the Bus You Rode on.
Not good enough, I may still need to think of another poem.
In the class, we also read the poem “Dark Pines Under the Water’. Very beautiful and powerful.
It paints vivid and unique images and tells a very mystery story which can connect to different feelings or stories.
