Have you ever had the same situation?

Jason could not sleep and still worried about whom to choose.
He asked me, “Mom, have you ever had the same situation that you must to choose someone but others would be mad at you because that you did not choose them?”
I replied, “Yes, sweetie. I had a few times. Let me think…”
“OK. Now I remember. Once I had two dancing tickets when I was in university. But I had eight roommates. So who to choose? You tell me.”
“I don’t know. Do you have any strategy?” Jason asked.
“Yes. First I thought of who could dance. I crossed out the ones cannot dance.” I said.
“So how many left?”
“Five. Then I would think who were always friendly to me. I would choose those who I trusted.” I said.
“So follow these rules, how many do you have in your mind?” I asked.
“Twenty one or two. ” Jason answered.
“Wow. You are popular. “ I exclaimed.
“I think they are all friendly and nice to me. “ Jason said.
“Ok. Don’t make it a big deal. Just think whom you really, really want to invite for the lunch.
Don’t go through your head to comb every friend of yours. Just those very closest ones.”
He tossed on the bed and could not make his decision.
“Mom, I think I may have a name draw for this.”
“All right. And tell them that you cannot decide since all are your friends so you let the draw decide.”
As for EQ, I think Jason is better than me. But I fear for his age he worries too much.

At last, he asked his teacher to help.

Tomorrow night, his school will host a Christmas concert.

He will perform in the orchestra.

I like his school because it is full of energy and creative acts. Most Kids feel relax and enjoy what they do.
