Watching Sound of Music
By Jason Liu
On October 17, I, Jason Liu went to a place called Princess Edward Theater with my mom, Anna Yin.
We went with another family. They were my friend, Keran and Keran’s mom. They went to Royal Theater to see the Orchestra Symphony.
At Sound of Music my mom and I enjoyed the show. It told a story of a girl who loved music very much and loved baby sitting. Her mother in the church sent her to be a baby sitter because she always went out and sang in the mountains.
When she got to Captain’s home, she was surprised to see the Captain whistling to his children to follow his commands. She thought the Captain was too strict to his children. She sang the “Do, Rai, Mi” song to make the children happy. and she taught them many other songs too. Everyday the children became more interested in music and they loved her very much after one night they all went to her bed because they were scared by the thunder. Later the Captain fell in love with the girl from the church when they were dancing together.
During that time, there was a war happening.
The captain had to leave his own country because he didn’t agree with the bad guys.
On Friday night, they performed a music concert for the town, soon they ran off to hide in safe place.
The bad guys were searching for them. Luckily,
The man who fell in love with the Captain’s oldest daughter saw them and pretended they were not there. Then the bad guys left and the Captain’s family fled to Switzerland.
My favorite part was when the Captain’s family got to Switzerland freely. Another one was their good-bye song and “do, rai, mi” song. My mom favorite part was the kids’ marching.
After the show my friend, Keran and I got….
Pop corn!!!!!!
THE END
Knock knock,
Who’s there?
