When I die (revised)

星期一 一月 07, 2008 12:09 pm

On my gravestone,
there is no word,
but a heart with a pair of wings.
When all other parts fade,
those shall remain.

The wind will flap the carving wings
and streams flow underground;
the sunset will cast crimson songs
and lakes shimmer with reflections.

My grave will open a sliding channel,
for a butterfly to flutter to the moon,
when lavenders swing in silence,
a wish star shall land in your dream.

I will sit demure
upon a blooming bay tree,
scattering fragrant petals
as the spring rain.
