Dream

At last we are invisible,
but who cares,
we are always blind,
chewing the sight and distance
with damp silence.

Waves upon waves,
the wind bites my tongue,
and blows leaves away,
I see us, two etched rocks.

Poems

Holding the sand sieve,
I sift them hard.
Call me insane,
it never bothers me--
I hunt for the rest
to belong.

I will mold them into a necklace
with a heart shape,
and hang it inside, close to my breast.

Don't say they are untouchable,
Yes, they are.

Ego

Shadow hidden,
trunk stands,
I call you
the elephant.

Huddled inside,
I am contented.
nose high.

Yet the sunlight touches,
you shrink without a word.

Watch my son play soccer

In the sunset,
he dashes to his goal,
yells back his joy.

His smile so sunny,
yet I just jot down another sad poem,
he returns and calls,
"Mom, Watch and rest!".
