Yoga (Poem)

Yoga
Sliding down gently,
breathing becomes soft waves
transverses spaces between
chest and face,
I return to the child pose.
Palms pressing down,
I huddle the earth beneath
Listen to whisper deep down
Me and the earth--
We are united.
Inhale, exhale… in the soft pattern
Inhale to embrace… things I appreciate
to soften my heart and
enrich my moment
exhale to let go… entwined mind
to remain myself and
accept the pure peace
deep inside roots
I need no bridge
To walk to serenity
noises from outside claim in vain
its pale richness.
