A song to shadow

When others claim
they have no shadow inside,
I invite my shadow to stay--
from the day I was born,
I knew we were siblings.
Others may ignore and deny him,
I listen to his muted singing.
light pierces transparent minds,
yet truth is not as simple as it seems.
While vicious dark sides
never expose themselves,
beneath the broad sky,
instead,
my shadow stands tall.
So for his thinnest honesty,
I sing to my shadow
and rely on
his own faith --
from a true self.
