My Lucky Day

Last night I drove to college for my night class. It was a beautiful day and felt like spring. I wore white vest and a black dress. On the way, I heard a noise and thought my car tire might have been broken, so I pulled over and got off my car to check the back. I saw that the back pipe (exhauster) was dragging on the road which made the noise. I was worried and didn’t know if I could drive. One guy rode his bicycle came over and checked my car for me. He asked me if I lived near, and told me that I could drive slowly to home or Canadian Tire to repair it. But he told me to be very careful since the pipe was very hot. For safety, I wanted to call the car Tow Truck to help since I had first class visa card to cover this for free. So I called, 10 minutes later, the operator answered and I asked for help. Since I told them my gas tank fell, so they asked me first to call 911, police. During my talking over the phone, one SUV parked on the opposite side of me and signaled if I needed him to help. I waved to him and hang up my call. He moved over and brought a long metal wire. He said he lived close and saw me still here and came with the wire to help. He lied down and joked not to let other cars hit him. I smiled and back off in a place to let other cars clearly see us from far. Meanwhile, another car drove very slow to us and parked behind us and said he would like to make sure no cars could hit us. I was touched and thanked him very much. Soon the guy wired the pipe and exhauster on the car tightly, I asked if I could drive it for tonight and let it fixed tomorrow in the car repair center. He said ok. The other guy saw everything was fixed, so he drove away. And I said to the guy who fixed my car that I would like to buy him a lunch someday. So I left my phone number and he gave his phone number to me. It really was my lucky day. I will get my car fixed tomorrow since today I work at home. My car has been with me for nine years and it never gives any trouble. I guess now it turns old, so I need my luck from time to time. I don't want to sell it and buy a new one. Anyway,I keep hoping good luck.
