The Deserted Castle

This is a deserted castle.
I stay to become the king
of one person’s kingdom.
Once there were sunflowers tall,
now lichen creeps around.
The moon hangs its veil,
night walks among shadows.
Nobody knocks at the door
except for a mailman’s footsteps.
I never meet him,
but wait patiently behind walls.
The only receiver am I,
so is the messenger himself.
