Guitar Camp!
Hello people. My name is Jason. Yeah! Rock on! Today I will talk about how
It feels to be a rock star! ( I mean how much fun and what I did in the
two weeks of Guitar Camp. There are 6 strings on a guitar, but I am going
to talk about ten notes (Just think about each day as one note).
On the first note, the two teachers tuned our guitars. There were supposed to
be three teachers; one teacher named Jim came at half past ten. We sat
down and learned our strings and notes. We did that for one hour and
thirty minutes. Then sports camp came into the room to eat their snack , so
we did too. After the snack, we went outside. We played outside. Then at twelve
o’clock we came back into the room to eat our lunches, and we learned about
techniques on the guitar. We started to play until we had to go home.
Every day we followed the same pattern, learning something
different on the guitar each day.
On the last day from half past one to four o’clock we had a mini party, with
junk food to eat such as chips, pizza, and fortune cookies. At three
o’clock we played music for our parents and we did this in three large
groups.
If you want to know which part was my favorite part, here it is: it is at
lunch time because I can play my DS at that time.
I learned a lot of things on the guitar and learned how to read tabs. So I
think you should encourage everyone to try it out.
