[Blue Ice]

Hot Feeling

“Fire, fire, still fire”
When you read your poem
My heart feels like burning

That is true, I am a new immigrant
This is similar to you when you first came from a different country
We have black hair with brown eyes
We try to speak English but we keep a strong accent
We have the best skills but are short of Canada experience
Don’t be upset, my best friends
Don’t forget that this was our own choice
We are motivated people. We never want to lose
Look at the sunrise from the east and fall down in the west
Ontario Lake is full in red, like blood fire
Oh, Canada is a burning Country
We will make life by our hands

Is summer coming?
I get hot feeling
I’m coughing with high temperature
I know I’m sick, but why am I writing this down?
Is this a poem? Or something else
Oh, yea
This is my special poetry
Just like the diary

I feel very hot for different reason
One is from a serious illness
Another is from my heart
Don’t you believe that is why I am so happy?
See, they will fight
And I trust that:
The heart will win and the illness will die
