Hi, XiaoMing and everybody,

My daughter is a grade 7 student. Her math is not very good. I heard from grade 9, student can choose applied mathematics program or academic mathematics program. If she chooses applied math, can she applies for community college (e.g. Seneca College)? I would appreciate if anyone tells me more about the difference between applied math program and academic math program. Do they get the same high school certificate when they graduate? Thanks.
