Do you have any information for Math Tutorial program or would you recommend some of math tutorial program?

My daughter is in Grade 7 and she has potential on the subject of math but requires some tutoring in order for her to improve the skills. Her tendency is to skip the steps of the process during math test. As a result, she couldn't get good marks/grades even though she understands the material and gives right answers. Another concern I have is that she believes that girls are not supposed to be good at math and shortcoming herself in that area regardless of what her teacher says about her math ability (Her teacher say that math is one of her strong subject)

A tutor may be helpful for kids to understand math concepts. For her case, I believe understanding is not a problme. She may need more practice to improve her skills in accuracy. You can try to buy a math workbook in her grade. Then ask her to write down each step in question solving process. After working together with her to check those steps, you may find what is the key for further improvements.
