A boy with steel braces in his shoes
wanted to buy a puppy.
He chose the one with handicapped legs.
People suggested him to make another choice,
But he cuddled the little puppy
and consoled him: the same pain you have,
from now on I will take care of.

I, with a broken heart,
went for a trip.
Wandering the long beach,
I heard people laughing.
Nobody gestured me a hello
Or waved a good-bye,
only the howling wind and lonely shadow
haunted around,
That reminded me of
the puppy and his rescuer.
