苹果

树上结出两颗苹果，夏天隐藏得更深
就像儿时的伙伴，我们都躲在一片极清幽的绿荫里
那时的天空显得格外的蓝，白云像极了我们放牧的羊群
今天，我在花果园的中央站了很久，比一棵树靠地面更近
比头顶上晃来晃去的羊群更加安静。我听到小鸟
在三月的体内唱歌，它们用细细的乳牙把指尖轻轻咬开
我感到小股的泉水流经静脉，豆大的汗珠浸出脊背
阳光点燃的小火苗，我惊喜地发现，结伴而来的花朵
在和我捉起迷藏，我伸手，她们就钻近了馥郁的夜色里
童年的月儿分外明亮，我说找到了，她们就乖乖地从叶丛出来
我会乘机抱一下，偷偷亲一口，她们就会咯咯地傻笑，红着脸
好似这两个苹果，离指尖那么近，离嘴唇那么近…
我却狠不下心来咬破，就像那些可人儿，一个个被人娶走

2005.07.19花果园

Apples

Two apples ripe in the tree, the Summer disguises itself even deeper
Just like my childhood friends, we hided ourselves in quiet and cool shades
The sky then appeared extra blue, and white clouds looked like our flock of sheep
Today, I stand at the center of my fruit garden for a long time, clinging to the ground like a tree
Quieter than the cloud of sheep walking overhead. I heard little birds
chipping inside the body of March, with their tiny teeth poking open fingertips of the Spring
I feel small streams seeping upward in my veins, drops of water sweating out through my backbone
Sunlight is dancing into flames. I am amazed to find: delighting flowers pop out to join me
in a hide-and-seek game. When I hold out my arms, they veil into the redolent dark of the evening
Childhood moonlight looked especially bright. I said “I spotted you!” Those girls tamely came out from the shadow
I would then hug them, gave cheeks tiny kisses. They would giggle sillily, with flushed faces
Just like these two rosy apples, so close to fingertips, approaching lips…
Yet I dare not bite them apart, just like those lovely little girls, ever since, married away one by one

this line may be a little troublesome:

Apples II

White skirt
You are waving around green leaves
Thigh does not look too steady
My pony jumping around like a drum

Rosy cheek
You are swaying high up in the blue sky
Sweet tunes flying everywhere
My ears my hair my very white teeth

Little bee
You are stinging me
On my feet my fingers my tummy itchier and itchier
Pollen, why are you traveling right into my eyes

White clouds
Please be my flock
Graze inside gentle shade
Accompanying me into a venery dream

Of a red apple
turning into my little lover
You herd the flock deeper and deeper
Beyond the gate of moon

Just after a tiny wink
I find myself grown up
Apple is plumb again
Moon lit like a lantern
But you never return

You stand one side
Teeth on the other
We use pollen to exchange
Sweet love, rotten meat and bone

Straight up, hair streaming down
An oil-paper umbrella, with a heart-breaking song
I lost in your eyes, in March
that stone-paved alley

Stretched out
A sharp knife, fragrance overflows
We feed one generation
After another
