I was rejected by UofT...

I'm from Ontario. I'm finishing my undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Harvard. Here is a BRIEF summary of what I did during my undergrad.

MCAT Score: PS 15, VR 14, BS 15, T
cGPA: 3.98
UofT GPA: 4,00
Languages spoken (fluent): English, French, Spanish, standard mandarin, hindi

1) Ran around the world, including all major oceans, and raised $35 billion dollars for AIDS research in Africa. I adopted several thousand children along the way, and provided funding for their health care and education. I built 57 schools in 12 different african countries.

2) Developed treatments for most types of malignant tumors.

3) Taught for 8 years as Princeton MCAT instructor, all areas.

4) 13 publications in basic sciences (3 Nature, 2 Cell, 2 Science, 5 JBC, 1 Nature structural biology), all first-author. Received about $600,000 in NIH research grants.

5) Started a wave of volunteering in Somalia to improve life for war-stricken families trying to cope with horrible living conditions.

6) Won gold medal in Olympics in 2004 for archery on Canada team. (I compete in Olympics in my spare time).

7) Volunteered over 20,000 hours in a tertiary-care facility Emergency Department. Leadership position after hours completed.

8) Shadowed physicians in every discipline, received LOR's from nearly every one.

9) Rhodes scholar

On the other hand, I had barely clicked 'submit' on AMCAS and I already had phone calls from all the Ivy-league medical colleges. I was also accepted by McGill as an OOP. I'll attend Havard Medical School (MD/PhD program) this september on a full ride scholarship.

1) Rhodes scholar 每年加拿大只有十一人, 名单网上有. 今年毕业的学生不可能又去Harvard Medical School, 又去牛津大学作Rhodes scholar
