谢谢大家。。。这几天闭门思过，认真读读，才发现一口气写下来的这首读起来确实象散文。。。

星期六几个诗友也提了建议，希望深入。这和华轩的意见相似。。。

The mirror’s request

I invite you to sit in front of me,
look at me -
your faithful reflection:
great face, neat hair, snow-white teeth.

Spots or wrinkles?
No worry.
There are ways to fix your flaws -
That is why you are here.

Yes. You depend on me.
You come to me
to reassure your existence –
We become friends.

But what about the blood of your hate,
the veins of your anger,
the nerves of your fear,
the cells of your sadness?
all become my sheer torture -
you cannot face,
I cannot change.

The scars across my heart remember -
Once I innocently revealed the truth,
but shattered into pieces.
I was a mirror, I understood.

So for now,
I invite you with a cold face.
