These two weeks Toronto is very cold. We can hear everywhere a lot of complains about the bad weather and too much snow. But have we ever appreciated the snow, the white quiet world?
When I saw an 8-years-old boy excitingly tasting the snowflakes, piling a huge snowman and almost dancing on his feet, I wondered.

His father noticed my curiosity and told me they were from South Africa. This was his first year in the place with real snow.

I was stunned. Yes, what we have can be easily forgotten. What the life give us we are seldom satisfied. We hardly look the positive side; we hardly cherish what we own.

So today I want everyone here join me to toast for our life.
Toast for what we have and never give up our optimism.
