a summer day
a serene beach
a young girl indulges in a book
her face hidden under a wide rim hat,
a fresh view of tanned skin breathing
in front of the picture
I watch and recognize my youth,
reading on and on;
soft breeze, warm sun,
quiet and lovely surroundings...
life, sometimes, in a blink of a moment,
was drawn by an unexpected whirlwind...
soon, the girl disappears
to watch from the outside.
